Awesome Foursome to Convert India into Bharat

The men who will run India have one aim: Modi idea of governance by creating a well-oiled government and party machine.

Narendra Modi doesn’t need much sleep. He already has a dream for India that is meant to last for the next decade or so. His Camelot which would help him realise the dream—Modi’s India—comprises three stalwarts; the taciturn Thakur and party boss, Rajnath Singh, the affable former BJP president Nitin Gadkari and the trusted, organisational powerhouse Amit Shah.

It is this Team of Four which will take forth the agenda of the new government based on connectivity, taking forward Atal Behari Vajpayee’s vision of a united India. Modi’s Ganga puja is a spiritual indication of this connectivity—of rivers, roads, infrastructure, telecom all coming together to fashion an India that is both locally and globally in touch.

Modi has a manifesto and a mission; an action plan he has written himself, working on it well past witching hour, but still waking up fresh for his morning yoga. He, and he alone,  has been working on it during his long campaign flights and road shows, paying attention to the narrative around him because he is a great listener. Now, as Prime Minister he knows it is time for the implementation of his agenda nationwide. In these ozone challenged times of political vacuum, Modi plans to graduate beyond being just another Prime Minister and become a national and global statesman.

To this end, Modi turns to the one closest to him—himself. He is the one who takes the call on all things small and big, since he knows God is in the details. He does not believe in a massive government, since he doesn’t have a coalition to please—hence expect a lean mean performance oriented government and bureaucracy. North and West India, which has given him the greatest mandate—215 seats out of 270—would be the first priority. There are high expectations of him, hence he will have to hit the ground running to kickstart the UPA ravaged economy.

For this, delivery mechanisms will be put in place staffed by persons specially chosen for their core experience in their respective fields.
