NEW DELHI: Students can now fill Delhi University forms to get admission to St. Stephen’s College and Jesus Mary College (JMC) as the two institutes colleges have agreed to integrate their admission process with the varsity.

Earlier, only the website link of these colleges was available on DU's admission portal, and students had to visit the college websites for any information. The decision to make the admission process more flexible was taken in a recently held meeting.   

“The registration process for admission will start from May 22, and information related to admission will be available on DU’s website,” said John Varghese, Principal, St. Stephen’s College.

“The colleges will also merge their IT system with university. With this, details of students admitted to the college will be made available on university’s website,” said a university official, requesting anonymity.  

Apart from this, all exam centres of DU will conduct online entrance exam for eight undergraduate courses and all postgraduate, MPhil and PhD courses. Only Delhi-NCR centre will have option of taking exam online and offline.   

Dyal Singh University to start 5 new courses

The Dyal Singh of University of Delhi is going to introduce five new honors courses at undergraduate level from 2017-18. The college will also be the first institute to set up a helpdesk for providing free counselling to students. The college will also have a dedicated computer centre to facilitate registration for courses.
