Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal launched a vitriolic attack on Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath for his anti-Romeo squads, saying a monk could not understand what love stands for. “Someone who has not married can’t know what love is and who was Romeo,” Agarwal said. He claimed he is God for his party workers and nobody could harm them till he was around.

Strained Ties
The BJP’s ties with ally Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) in Assam have become strained. BPF, a constituent of the State’s three-party ruling dispensation, is miffed over the BJP’s attempt to field candidates in the panchayat elections from Bodoland Territorial Areas District.
In last year’s Assembly polls, the two parties had a seat-sharing understanding. BPF says it will sever its ties with the BJP if the latter   wants.

for a lit fest, the JNU student leader was trolled by ABVP cadres, who shouted slogans against him. Kumar in turn said that they can’t stop anyone from speaking. ABVP supporters were condemning Kumar, who had come to talk about his book From Bihar to Tihar.
