Paper leaks: Student protests grip Delhi

NEW DELHI: A day after the Human Resources Development Ministry announced the re-examination of Class XII economics on April 25, a group of students in the city carried out a protest outside Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) headquarters in Preet Vihar.

The Ministry, while announcing the date of re-examination for Class XII economics paper had said that the decision on conducting a re-test for Class X maths paper will be taken in next 15 days, inviting the wrath of the protesting students who demanded that the re-test should either be held for all exams or none.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch received a reply from Google on Saturday on the details it had sought pertaining to the e-mail address from where the CBSE chairperson was sent a mail about the Class 10 mathematics paper being leaked, an official privy to the probe said.

A senior police officer said they had got a reply from the online search engine but refused to divulge further details.

SSC paper leak cracked?

A Delhi Court on Thursday sent all four accused arrested in connection with the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam paper leak to police custody for seven days.
