Lunching ladies who had all the fun

What could be more fun for lunching ladies to gossip over low-cal food and shop for some exotic clothes while doing so? Well, designer Payal Kapoor showcased her Autumn/Festive 2012 collection at Spoons where she invited select stylistas of the city.

Payal’s collection that was inspired by the ‘Raj’ and doused in flavour of Benaras was alluring to most. Traditional Indian wear is a sensible shopping now as the festive season and the non-stop weddings are around the corner. However, it was rather interesting to spot that minus the designer of the soiree, the ladies wore trendy Western high-fashion labels.

We spotted Shalu Jindal in a pretty pink and white short dress, Shalini Passi in a breezy printed maxi, and Amrita Singh in a lovely printed dress. Shabnam Singhal, Aarti Mehra and Sonia Arora were few other lovely ladies spotted there.
