The scheme to provide tablets to teachers working in Delhi government schools was rolled out last year in October, after a delay of almost two years.
The schools were asked to circulate the message that ‘bullying is strictly prohibited and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished’ through magazines and to display it at prominent placesin school.
The admission to nursery and other entry-level classes under the categories in around 1,700 private unaided schools in the city is set to begin from January 15.
Last month, the DoE had asked all private schools to regulate private vehicles operating as school vans without valid permits in accordance to the Supreme Court guidelines.

The Delhi government’s decision comes in the wake of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development’s directive to states and Union Territories for capping the weight of school bags.
