The Bill passed by the newly formed Congress government in the state provides 5 per cent quota in government jobs and educational institutes to the Gujjars and four other communities.
For the last ten days, Rajasthan has been witnessing a string of protests by the Gujjar community.
The Indian Railways said as many as 3 trains have been cancelled and 2 trains diverted due to the ongoing protest.
On Sunday, the protesters turned violent as three police vehicles were torched in Dholpur district and around 10 shots were also fired.
The Gujjars will continue their protest demanding 5 per cent reservation to the Gujjars, Raika-Rebari, Gadia Luhar, Banjara and Gadaria communities in government jobs and educational institutions.
