The incident took place at the native village of three-time former CM Dr Jagannath Mishra in Belaur in Supaul district where his last rites were to be performed with full state honours.
Jagannath Mishra passed away on August 19 and the cremation took place at Balua Bazar amid with full state honours.
Thousands of supporters and admirers had also thronged the cremation ground at the Balua Ghat village of Mishra who was one of the most powerful leaders in the state of his time.
