Chamisa, who heads the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC), narrowly lost to Emmerson Mnangagwa in Zimbabwe's first election since the ousting of long-time ruler Robert Mugabe last year.
In his first comments since the country's top court overturned the opposition's legal challenge to have the results annulled, Chamisa vowed to lead "peaceful protests".

The appearance by 24 people arrested in a police raid at opposition MDC headquarters comes a day after President Emmerson Mnangagwa was declared the winner.
Zimbabwe's closely-watched elections began with Monday's peaceful vote but turned deadly 48 hours later when the military fired on protesters and six people were killed.
He charged that the ZEC had denied his Movement for Democratic Change party access to the results before the announcement that Mnangagwa had won by the narrowest margin of 50.8 percent.
The Afrobarometer poll put Mnangagwa on 40 percent and Chamisa on 37 percent and said there was now a "reasonable possibility" the opposition champion could win after a spurt in popularity.
Zimbabwe's parliament last week passed the Electoral Amendment Bill which now awaits presidential assent to become law.
