Chalakudy Parliament constituency LDF candidate Innocent visited SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan at his residence at Kanichukulangara near here on Wednesday.
SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan had said the entry of two activists into Sabarimala temple with police protection was not right.
Despite the assurance, ruling front MLAs continued their protests urging it should be removed from the resolution. With protests continuing, the session was temporarily adjourned.
He was addressing mediapersons on the sidelines of the meeting of Hindu community organisations convened by the government in the backdrop of the Sabarimala issue on Saturday.
A general council with Vellappally Natesan as chairman was formed to conduct the human wall and other awareness programmes.
He said both the state and Central governments should bring out a law for circumventing the Supreme Court verdict allowing women of all ages to enter Sabarimala.
General secretary Vellappally Natesan said the yogam suspects the protests are a plan to create a second liberation struggle in the state.
