Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday said that India's economic growth in the current fiscal year is likely to remain flat at 5 percent. Singh's forecast is more optimistic than those of several private economists, who are predicting growth in the year till March 2014 to slip below 5 percent. Addressing the second day of the annual Diaspora Day in New Delhi, Singh said that international and domestic factors have contributed to the growth. Singh also said that inclusive development was the guiding principle of the central government.
