Modi to Discuss Technology Trends With Media Industry

The whole aim is to discuss what are the trends in technology and trends in societal uses related to media.

WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to the United States, will be attending an event titled ‘Growth Story of India,’ where he will discuss the latest trends in technology with representatives from media and communications industry.

“It’s a round table with large number of representatives from media and communications industry. There will be about 15 of them present there,” India's Ambassador to the US Arun Singh told the media here.

“The whole aim is to discuss what are the trends in technology and trends in societal uses related to media. What does it mean for developing countries? How to use it for maximising benefits to our society?” he added.

The event will take place on September 24 at 2:30 p.m. here.
