HONG KONG: Hong Kong's unpopular Beijing-backed leader Leung Chun-ying said Friday he would not run again for office and will stand down when his first term finishes next July.

Leung cited family reasons for his decision, saying he was making the move out of "responsibility as a father and a husband".
