President Trump leaves Capitol for White House

Secret Service agents will run alongside the limo, nicknamed "The Beast," for the entire journey.

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania left the Capitol on Friday for the White House, leading the traditional inaugural parade along Pennsylvania Avenue, with thousands of people lining the route.

The 70-year-old Trump, who took office earlier in the day, reviewed US troops before getting into the presidential limousine. Secret Service agents will run alongside the limo, nicknamed "The Beast," for the entire journey.
