Hetero Group Donates Rs 2.50 Cr for Mission Kakatiya Project

HYDERABAD: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, noted pharma company Hetero Group on Friday extended financial assistance of Rs 2.50 crore for restoration of lakes in Khammam district under the government’s prestigious Mission Kakatiya programme. Hetero Group chairman and managing director Pardhasaradhy Reddy handed over the cheque of Rs 2.50 crore to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the latter’s camp office for utilising the amount to restore lakes. “We wanted to participate in the prestigious programme of the government and extended the financial assistance,’’ he said.  Congratulating the Hetero Group CMD and other directors, KCR said this gesture of Hetero Group will be a role model for other corporates. The financial assistance would be utilised for restoration of Chandramma and Lingagudem lakes in Kandukur mandal of Sattupalli constituency. The two lakes are adopted by the Hetero Group and would be restored, an official release said.
