Dr Achuthsankar S Nair, teacher and researcher of the University of Kerala, has been selected for the INSA Teacher Award 2012 instituted by the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi.  The award comprises Rs 50,000 and a citation and will be presented at the academy’s meeting at New Delhi in December this year.

 The award has been instituted to recognise and honour teachers who have inspired students to take up careers in science and technology.
