THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The executive committee of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) has been reconstituted with KSCSTE executive vice-president V N Rajasekharan Pillai as the chairman. The executive committee was reconstituted by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who is also the president of KSCSTE.
Other members of the committee are Kinfra chairman and managing director S Ramnath, Kerala State Biodiversity Board chairman Oommen V Oommen, Cochin University Emeritus Professor K K Mohammed Yusuff, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology director M Radhakrishna Pillai, Regional Cancer Centre director Paul Sebastian, NATPAC director B G Sreedevi, JNTBGRI director P G Latha, the Union Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, the Planning and Economic Affairs secretary, the Finance Department secretary and the KSCSTE member-secretary.
The tenure of the executive committee would be three years from August 1, 2014. The first meeting of the executive committee will be held on August 19, an official communication said.
