A free medical camp is to be conducted on leucoderma by the Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER), a unit of DRDO at Malajikulam Road.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A free medical camp is to be conducted on leucoderma by the Defence Institute of Bio-Energy Research (DIBER), a unit of Defence Research and Development Organisation  (DRDO) at Boban Residency, Manajlikulam Road here from 10 am to 6 pm on Monday.

A team of doctors from Aimil Healthcare and Research Centre and from the state will lead the camp.

The comprehensive leucoderma treatment involves addressing the associated complications like nutritional deficiency, immunity status, endocrine functions of the body, dietary guidelines, lifestyle factors and certain dos and donts to be followed for the utmost advantage of the patients and faster recovery.

The Aimil Healthcare and Research Centre already has over 20, 000 patients registered with them from different parts of the country and abroad.
