Though in the recent past the Tamil film industry has witnessed many films revolving around the theme of friendship, the makers of Vaada Poda Nanbargal say the film would be different. Director Manikai (screen name for Senthil Kumar), who is also a weekend news reader, says that his debut flick Vaada Poda Nanbargal will not even have that ‘predictable’ climax. Starring Nanda ( Pugaipadam ), Sharan ( Inidhu Inidhu ) and new face Yashika, the film is slated for release later this month. The director has also penned a song for the film. While the music is by Siddhartha, the film is produced by P Arumaichandran. “It took me five years to complete the film and I learnt the basic techniques of filmmaking by working with Seeman and Muthukumar. I hope this film, which is a celebration of friendship and love, will reach out to the audience,” added the director.
