ATHANI: Police have arrested four supporters of senior BJP leader and and four-time MLA from Kagwad (Athani taluk) Bharamagouda (alias) Raju Kage on charges of attempt to murder, at Ugar on Sunday.
However, the police are still clueless regarding the whereabouts of Kage and his family members, who are the prime accused in the case.

The arrested have been identified as Shankar Ammanna Waghamode (62), Malagonda Appu Patil (59), Ravindra Bhoopal Nagave (55) and Sudarshan Annasab Nandani (32).
It may be recalled here that the kin and supporters of MLA Kage had allegedly attacked businessman Vivek Shetty for posting a defamatory comment against the legislator on his Facebook page.
