Retired IAS officer K R Venugopal said Dalits will believe in people from other caste only after TTD chairman and executive officers tender an apology to the community on behalf of the Hindu society.
Speaking at a release function of the book “Dalita Paksham -11” written by senior journalist Mallepalli Laxmaiah here Saturday, Venugopal said Dalits were still facing discrimination in some areas. Hindu community should now take up the job of eradicating discrimination and boost confidence among them. Venugopal said Laxmaiah had focused on various problems being faced by Dalits in the book.
