Seems cupid has struck young film producer Narayan Chandra Nayak once more and he is obsessed with love as the theme of his second venture Prema Adhei Akshara after Prem Rogee. Being produced under the banner of Umamani Visual Creations, mahurat of the film was solemnised in a temple in the City on Sunday where the producer’s father switched on the camera and veteran actor Uttam Mohanty took the first clap. Incidentally, Uttam also acts in the film.
A teenagers’ love story, Babushaan plays the lead and fits into the scheme of casting; so also debutante Riya, said choreographer turned director Sudhakar Basant who has also handled the screenplay. It would be a film for the family as it has a lot of drama, hinted script writer and co-producer Sunita Narendra Singh. While Rajani Ranjan writes the dialogues, Malay Mishra has been the music maker for the film.
Babushaan, Riya and Uttam apart, the cast includes veterans and seniors like Bijay Mohanty and Mihir Das, George Tiadi, Asit Pati, Namrata Das, Puspa Panda besides familiar faces like Pintu Nanda, Hadu, Samaresh, Biju Badajena and Prativa Sahu. Budding actress Priya Mohapatra is also cast in a key character in the film that is set for release during the Durga puja.
