Saraswati Antya Pushkaralu begins with sacred rituals at Triveni Sangam in Kaleshwaram

A festive atmosphere prevailed at Triveni Sangam in Kaleshwaram as Saraswati Antya Pushkaralu commenced with a ceremonial holy dip on Thursday.

Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham pontiff Sri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati Swami performed special rituals to Lord Vigneshwara and Goddess Saraswati before the inauguration.

Devotees thronged the sacred river confluence in large numbers, braving the summer heat to take part in the 12-day Pushkaralu rituals.
