The overall sales figure of Tata cars were not impressive in 2014 as compared to last year. This year the company sold 40,481 units while 61,660 units were sold in January 2013. This indicates a decline in sales by 34 percent. Hence, Tata is offering heavy discounts to promote its sales.

Tata Nano

The tiny affordable car will now come in more economical price with the benefits of Rs 35,000. This low priced hatch has competitors in the form of Hyundai Eon and Maruti Alto. Tata Nano is no more a basic car as it adorns features like power steering, good sound system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Along with these features, the car also offers a fuel economy of 25.35kmpl making it a versatile city car.

Tata Indica eV2

This very efficient and affordable car by Tata can now be availed with benefits of up to Rs 40,000. Tata Indica eV2 is spacious, its fuel efficient with 25 kmpl mileage, it fits well within budget, comes dressed in bright colors and has nice dual tone interiors with the CR4 diesel engine.

Tata Vista

The Indica Vista can be yours with an additional discount of Rs. 50,000 along with exchange. The hatchback runs on a Fiat sourced 1172cc quadrajet diesel engine producing 64bhp power at a maximum torque of 96Nm. The updated Vista has a new steering wheel, new touch screen audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and GPS equipped multimedia system.

Tata Indigo eCS

This compact sedan is coming with a cash benefit of Rs.20,000 plus extra Rs 20,000 on as an exchange offer. The car offers four-spoke steering wheel and good quality fabric seats in beige shade. The top variants also features electrically adjustable body colored ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, rub rails studded with chrome, leather adorned gear shift knob, etc. The center console fits a music system with Bluetooth connectivity. The Tata Indigo eCS comes in both the engine options. The 1.4- liter TDI turbo diesel engine churns out 70bhp at 135Nm of torque. The petrol one delivers 65bhp at a torque of 100Nm.

Tata Sumo

Tata Sumo which originated in 90s, is still on sale. The SUV from Tata's stable can now be owned at a benefit of Rs 20,000. The design of the Sumo is inspired by the Mercedes-Benz G wagon. Now the Sumo gets roof mounted AC vents for added comfort along with double suspension.

Tata Safari Storme

The strongest SUV in the portfolio, Tata Safari Storme gets a benefit of upto Rs 80,000 and 3 years or 10,00,000 kms of warranty. Storme is powered by 2.2 litre VariCOR turbo diesel engine with an option of 4x4 drive producing output of 140bhp and 320Nm of torque. Tata Safari Storme mainly competes with the likes of Mahindra XUV500.
