Sometimes a question pops up in your mind that is it really possible to get your car shine like it was earlier? Yes it is. With appropriate care and maintenance you can keep your vehicle looking fresh and new always. If you are aware of the steps needed to wash/clean a car, then further the job becomes easier. So when you are done with car washing, put the car for getting dry. Now in order to give the car a nice clean look, apply wax polish on it. Applying wax not only adds shiny luster to your car but wax coating also acts as a blockade against caustic elements that might injure your car’s paint.

Here are some easy steps as how to apply wax-polish on your car

Before applying wax-polish on your car, ensure that the car surface is completely dry because if the car's body has even a few drops of moisture, it becomes hard for wax polish to glue on the surface. Apart from this, to apply wax polish, put your car under shade as direct sunlight will rapidly dry the wax as soon as you apply it. To be on the safer side always, prefer using a dry wax instead of spray wax as the former is long lasting. And also prefer using that wax which has Carnauba in it.

Second step is to apply wax polish on the car’s body. Take waxing foam and apply on the surface of the car. Here try to cover a 2X2 feet area of the body. Keep in mind that the thinner the layer, the better it would be. People generally do mistakes by applying too much wax, which is nothing but a waste and eventually becomes harder to eradicate. Keep your hands very moderate while applying wax and move them in circular motion.

Now wait for the wax to sit evenly. After applying wax on car body, keep the car stand-still for few minutes so that the wax finely sticks to the surface. To ascertain if the wax is ready to come about, swing your finger on the surface. If the wax spreads, it is yet not done. But if it’s dry and clears away, it is ready for cleaning.

Next step is to wipe-off the wax. After the wax has sat suitably, it’s time to clean entire car with dirt-free soft rag. Better use a microfiber cloth that you can bring from a car accessory store. In case you don’t find such cloth, you can clean the car surface with soft clean rug. Keep wiping-away the whole body of the car giving it a glossy even finish.

There are few things you need to cross check before applying wax polish to your car and they are must.

Whenever you buy wax, must read the manufacturer guidelines about the wax polish. This manual will let you know some crucial information like how long you need to put wax to let it dry and what kind of surfaces it can be applied on. You should know the fact that the matte finish paints of cars are not believed to be waxed at all.

So this is the whole procedure to follow if you want to give your car a shiny and glossy look and let people wonder about the secret of your new looking car. By following these easy steps, you can definitely surprise heads on roads.
