When the 13th edition of the Auto Expo gets underway in New Delhi next month, all eyes will be on the component show. It will be held at the Pragati Maidan from February 4-7, while the motor show will be held at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, from February 5-9.
The component show will be spread over 80,000 sq metres in 18 halls this year, and will see the participation of 1,500 companies. While there will be 50 new entrants, 900 Indian companies will display their products along with 600 international exhibitors.
Seven exclusive international pavilions from China, Canada, Germany, Japan, Taiwan (ROC), South Korea and the UK will display an array of components during the expo. Overseas delegations are expected from around 15 countries. There will be dedicated pavilions for bearings and garage equipment and live demonstrations of advance technologies.
The motor show will be held in the indoor exhibition space of India Expo Mart. The venue has witnessed enormous construction, and is expected to make space for more exhibitors.
