Yes Bank sweeps FINWIZ Awards

They are the crème of Indian banking. As part of its efforts to recognise the Indian banking industry, The Sunday Standard Finwiz 2012 Best Bankers’ Awards were given away at a glittering ceremony organised in the Capital on Monday.

From Indian Overseas Bank CMD M Narendra to Bank of Baroda Chairman and Managing Director Mallya, anybody and everybody in the banking sector graced the occasion.

The awards ceremony preceded a panel discussion comprising elite panelists led by Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Economic Council, Dr C Rangarajan.  The winners of different categories were handed over the awards by Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma. The awards were swept by away by Rana Kapoor’s Yes Bank, which, apart from winning the Best Banker award, won a total of five awards in different categories (see list). The other winners in different categories can also be seen in the list.
