HARMAN enters Chennai to help Tamil Nadu, AP customers

Sensing a huge potential market and increasing demand for professional audio and allied services in Tamil Nadu, HARMAN Professional India, global provider of premium audio and infotainment solutions, launched its first Authorised HARMAN Service Centre (AHSC) in Chennai, recently.

HARMAN, that started in 2009 in Bangalore has versatile service providers in a wide range of sectors like entertainment, hospitality, education, automobiles, not just providing audio solutions but also a range of lighting and video equipments, with an array of brands like Harman Kardon, Lexicon, AKG, dbx, Soundcraft, Studer and Martin. It has also launched its AHSC in Mumbai and Kolkata, last year. The AHSC in Chennai, which will be taken care of by Zion Services (service provider), will provide service and customer support in the States of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

“We always emphasis on the need for being closer to the customers and that is the reason behind our Chennai centre. We have been providing service in Chennai through other service providers and observed that Chennai is a growing market and the demand is huge. So we wish to be close to our customer to provide convenient service,” said Ganesh Kumar, senior manager, HARMAN Professional India.

Also, with the recent launch of the Pan-India toll-free customer support helpline initiative which sets the benchmark in the industry for service and support, HARMAN is confident of reaching the customer and widening their services.

In fact, Ganesh claims that their pending call records have considerably reduced after the launch of the initiative. Besides this, they promise a hassle-free service to the customer where the company picks up the product from the customer’s place and bears the complete cost of transporting the product back to the place.

Speaking at the inauguration, Prashant Govindan, Director, India operations, HARMAN Professional expressed his wish to spread the service through the country through expansive dealer and channel partner network.

Having set the mark of covering all major metros in the country, HARMAN India plans to expand to five additional service centers across India in near future, which will mainly concentrate on Tier-II cities in the country to serve the customers of the respective regions efficiently and effectively.
