CPCL Observes ‘Swachh Bharat’ Programme

CHENNAI: As part of ‘Swachh Bharat’ programme, Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) organised cleanliness drive on October 2, 2014 at three locations viz CPCL’s Manali Refinery, CPCL’s Cauvery Basin Refinery at Nagapattinam and corporate office of the company towards creating awareness on ‘national cleanliness campaign’ among employees. S Venkataramana, Managing Director, launched the special cleanliness campaign at Manali Refinery premises.  Employees along with Managing Director, functional directors and General Managers took part and launched cleaning different parts of refineries. R Chidambaram, General Manager (CBR) administered the ‘cleanliness pledge’ at Cauvery Basin Refinery, Nagapattinam and P Subramaniam, General Manager (Corporate Planning) administered the ‘cleanliness pledge’ at corporate office. Employees including contract workmen participated in the cleanliness pledge, taking the special cleanliness campaign voluntarily with enthusiasm.
