KOCHI: Geojit BNP Paribas has registered a profit of Rs 20 crore for the second quarter of 2014-15 financial year ending September 30, 2014, an increase of Rs 18.1 crore compared to the same period last year. The revenue of the company has gone up by 64 per cent from Rs 44.8 crore to Rs 73.3 crore. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) has gone up by 148 per cent to Rs 31 crore from Rs 12.5 crore in the year-ago period. Consolidated revenue of the company increased by 57 per cent from Rs 52.5 crore to Rs 82.4 crore compared to the same period last year. The company’s Assets Under Management has gone up to Rs 2,1150 crore as on September 30.“The significant increase in the market volume has helped the company to achieve better results. During the second quarter the company added 14,000 new customers,” said C J George, managing director, Geojit BNP Paribas.
