JAIPUR: A total of 40,506 farmers in 40,500 villages were provided agricultural power connection in just nine months of 2015-16, Rajasthan Minister of State for Power Pushpendra Singh said today.
For Rabi crop season, the farmers were being provided uninterrupted power supply in four block-hours' schedule since October this year, the minister said here.
All 3 discoms have been directed to provide power supply at agricultural connections as per schedule without any interruption, he said.
