NEW DELHI: OYO Asset Management, a part of the OYO Group, will offer end-to-end solutions and support for real-estate owners to generate more yields from their assets and also to upgrade, transform their properties into modern hotels. Maninder Gulati, chief strategy officer of OYO, told Express.

As part of its expansion, OYO will offer its expertise in infrastructure repair and upgradation, hospitality operations and skilling of staff.

“Our teams will provide end-to- end support with real estate upgradation, repair, transformation and marketing to ensure maximum returns,” said Gulati. The hospitality group has recruited a team of transformation engineers and designers to offer these new services. They are capable of transforming all types of real estate into modern, fully serviced hotels and homes.

Owners of existing hotels or those with locked second homes can transform their properties into a variety of options such as Townhouse, OYO Rooms and OYO Homes, he said.

The company claims to have started work on 5,000 such real-estate owners across the country to maximise their revenue. “We are bringing this model to anyone who has an under-utilised real-estate asset — be it a home or a commercial space,” he added.

Through access to easy financing and-free loans and high-performing marketing channels, it will be responsible to asset-owner that they receive maximum returns.

“We will take the guarantee of minimum business that covers the EMIs and operating expenses to ensure asset-owners can invest in making their hotel or home into a more beautiful space and a successful business,” said Gulati.

Gulati said that OYO has invested in training staff in its various skill institutes across the country. “We can offer manpower support to service guests at these hotels.”

The company is confident of cornering major market share, even if the competitors were to emerge in this new model soon.
