BANGALORE: A taxi driver was killed and his father seriously injured after they were attacked by unidentified men at Girinagar police station limits on Friday night.
On Friday night, at about 9:30 pm, Mahesh(23) was attacked outside his house at Hoskerehali by two unidentified men. His father, Shankare Gowda,when he attempted to come to Mahesh’s aid, was attacked too.The attackers fled after leaving them greviously wounded.
The two were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Mahesh was declared brought dead. According to hospital sources, Shankare Gowda is fighting for his life.
A case has been registered at Girinagar police station. Investigation is on.
