He was arrested along with three middlemen while accepting bribe of `50,000 on Monday from one Narayanaswamy, a land owner in Bommasandra of Anekal.

Ramanjaneya was remanded to judicial custody toll December 13. Some VIPs, including Social Welfare Minister A Narayana Swamy, son of Katta Subrahmanya Naidu and an accused in the KIADB scam Katta Jagadish Naidu, former minister Venkataramanappa and JD(S) leader Prasad Babu (Kabaddi Babu), met him in prison and inquired after his health.
