BANGALORE: What are your spiritual beliefs?
I believe in the existence of God. I believe that God is a superpower and invincible. My day is not complete without offering prayers to the God.
What is your
understanding of God?
I am of the opinion that God protects all of us. He corrects human beings whenever they stray from the right path. He is the one who makes corrections in the life of a person from time to time. He is everywhere and omnipotent and is capable of helping people in distress.
What are your spiritual practices?
I think of God everyday. I offer pooja to the almighty in the morning. I follow our culture and tradition. I also follow our festivals meticulously. I chant the Gayatri Mantra while
offering pooja in the
morning.
Do you visit pilgrimage centres?
Though I believe that God is omnipresent, I keep visiting pilgrimage centres such as Tirumala and Dharmasthala whenever time permits. I am of the opinion that visiting a pilgrimage centre is not a must for people since God is everywhere.
My all time favourite pilgrimage centre is Kamakshi Temple in Goa. Kamakshi is our family’s Godess. Visiting Goddess’s Kamakshi temple, that was built many years ago, gives me immense satisfaction and a lot of peace of mind.
