BANGALORE: Arun, Resident Editor of The New Indian Express (Karnataka) remitted office on Saturday after 32 years of service.

He started his journey in the Express as a trainee reporter in Shimoga in 1980 and contributed to both the Express and its sister publication Kannada Prabha. In 1983, he was made a staff reporter at Bangalore and later transferred to Shimoga, where he headed the bureau. Arun was transferred to Bangalore as Deputy Chief of News Bureau in 2006 and later became the News Editor and Chief of News Bureau before becoming the Resident Editor (Karnataka) in 2010.
