BANGALORE: A 23-year-old student was allegedly killed by his roommate at Cholarapalya in Magadi Road on Saturday morning. The deceased, Neeraj Subkota (23) (in picture) was a first year B-Pharma student at St John College and was staying with his classmates Theertha Raju and Rubee at Vidyaranyapuram near Cholarapalya. They were all Nepalese and were  living together since three months, the police said.

According to the police, Neeraj and Raju were frequently quarrelling over petty issues. Neeraj used to wear Raju’s shirt without his permission when he was asleep. But when Raju questioned Neeraj, he used to threaten him. On the same issue, they both had a fight on Saturday morning and in the melee, Raju stabbed him with a knife. A case has been registered in Magadi Road police station and police investigating in the connection after arresting Raju.
