BANGALORE: The shopkeepers of Alankar Plaza situated in Majestic launched a protest against their owner for not providing with proper parking facilities to the shopkeepers here.

The shopkeepers shut down their shops at 1 pm to mark their agitation. They contended that the owner has been negligent towards providing them with parking facilities.

City Express interacted with a few shopkeepers, reactions were as expected furious. Ravi, a shopkeeper who deals with electronic said, “We have been requesting the owner for a long time to provide a parking space. This also leads to traffic snarls in the area because shopkeepers ends up parking their vehicles haphazardly in front of the plaza. I hope our protest will bring some change in the mind of the owner and he will take action.”

However, police intervene the protest and after two hours of agitation, the police forced them to resume to their regular work.
