BANGALORE: A farmer was stabbed to death by his cousin following a quarrel at Gaadipalya in Thalaghattapura on Monday. Shashikumar, 32, a resident of Gaadipalya was killed, while his cousin, Vinod, 18, who killed the former is absconding. According to the police, Shashikumar had gone to Vinod’s house, where the duo quarrelled. In a fit of rage, Vinod allegedly stabbed Shashikumar. Shashikumar died while being shifted to a hospital. Sources said Shashikumar allegedly had an illicit relationship with Vinod’s mother after her husband had passed away. This might have led to rivalry between the duo, police suspect.
