BANGALORE: Based on a tip off, the city police raided 10 hookah bars and seized 67 hookah pipes and flavoured tobacco packets. As many as 44 people were arrested in this connection and were produced before the court. In the East division, three hookah bars were raided, during which three persons were arrested and six hookah pipes were seized.
Also, another 9 persons were held during different raids and 30 hookah pipes were seized. Raids were also conducted in other divisions.
