BANGALORE: Homeopathic Medical Association  of India in collaboration with the department of Ayush, organised a rally to mark the birth anniversary of Homeopathy medicine founder Dr Samuel Hahneman at Town Hall on Tuesday.

Jnanpith awardee Chandrashekar Kambar who flagged off the rally, said, “Homeopathy is the second best medicine. Our government should encourage the practitioners.”

“Homeopathy, as a therapeutic system, was used in 18th century by German physician Dr Samuel Hahneman and on his birthday, we want to spread a special message to the public asking them to use Homeopathy medicines,” said Dr Veerabhadraiah, president, Karnataka Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine. Malleswaram MLA Dr Ashwathnarayana and G N Srikantaiah, director, Department of Ayush were present.
