BANGALORE: Ram Navami festival was celebrated with great pomp and show at Acharya Institute of Graduate Studies recently.

The celebration which was organised by the Post Graduate students of AIGS participation of hundreds of students from different departments. Professor Gurunath Rao Vaidya, principal of AIGS, Bramham, from QACI and the lecturers of all the departments were present during the event.

Speaking about the preparations for celebration of the festival in college, Prashanth, a student said, “We started the preparations a day earlier and it is glad to see that event turned out to be a grand success.”

“This festival commemorates the birth of Lord Rama who is remembered for his prosperous and righteous reign. The concept Rama Rajya, the reign of Sri Rama is considered to be a rare duration of peace, harmony and prosperity,” said Shridevi S, a student.
