BANGALORE:  A 26-year-old software engineer was found hanging at his room in Anandanagar in HAL on Tuesday. The deceased Biswajit, a native of Odisha, was working with IBM in Whitefield. He had been living in the city for three years.

Police said Biswajit had not gone to office since April 5. On Monday night, his neighbours sensed foul smell and broke open Biswajit’s  room door and found him hanging. They informed the police about the incident.

“It  is suspected that he has taken the extreme step on April 6. No suicide note was found. His colleagues ruled out the chances of work pressure. We have gone through his phone call details and we could not find any love angle behind his death,” said HAL police, who have registered a case.
