BANGALORE: BBMP will hold a pulse polio drive on April 15. According to officials, there are 6,50,592 children below five years in Bangalore. As many as 1,800 polio booths have been set up across the city.
Nearly 8,352 vaccinators from medical colleges, NGOs and BBMP have been roped in for the purpose. Also, 266 vaccinators at 310 mobile units will administer polio drops at public places and apartments. As many as 9,275 are identified as children below 5 years.
