BANGALORE: Despite the traffic jam the city faced on a Friday evening, the shoppers at Mantri Square, Malleshwaram witnessed Abu Baker display his culinary skill in front of Reliance TimeOut bookstore. Recipes of three dishes were distributed to the audience. Chef Abu demonstrated his cooking as a step-by-step method. The first dish presented was the Peanut and

Cottage Cheese Finger. As the evening proceeded, families and food enthusiasts watched Chef Abu filling the minds of the spectators with awe and inquisitiveness.

Abu said that he mainly specialises in Indian cuisine and Bakery. Recalling his memories with a smile, Abu narrated his funniest kitchen story. He said, “When I went to a fire training programme, the kitchen caught fire. I was the only one available to put off the fire. In the process, I had difficulties breathing and eventually fell down.”
