BANGALORE: “Like Lords Rama, Krishna, even the Architect of Indian Constitution Dr B R Ambedkar is also a god.

Ambedkar is a living god.

He created an environment for people to live together,” said S Raman, chairman and managing director, Canara Bank.

He was speaking at the 121st birth anniversary celebrations of Ambedkar organised by Canara Bank SC/ ST Employees’ Welfare Association recently.

Stating that he had witnessed Ambedkar Jayanthi celebrations all over the country, Raman said, “Ambedkar still enjoys love and affection because of his contribution to the society.

His birth anniversary is celebrated both in India and abroad.” As a part of the celebrations, Dr C Pradgna, delivered a lecture on Dr Ambedkar and his achievements.
