BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Monday directed the State Government to file a detailed report on land which has been allotted to Beggars Rehabilitation Centre near Sumanahalli on Magadi Road.
The demand came in connection with the PIL filed stating that BDA is planning to construct a star hotel, commercial and retail centres, office space and entertainment centre on the land which was allotted for rehabilitation of beggars.
The state government told the High Court on January 30 that it would not give the 123.30 acre land to BDA.
Hearing the petition a division bench directed the state government to file a detailed report on the land and adjourned the petition for four weeks.
