BANGALORE: Five occupants of a Tata Indica car were injured after a cab driver rammed the car into an underpass in Hennur in Monday. The victims Hanumanathiah, Shanta, Irfan, Vajeer and Privanthi were injured, while the driver abandoned the car and fled. According to the police, at around 10 am, the occupants of the Indica car were waiting at a bus stop near Hennur.

An unidentified cab driver who came near the bus stop, offered them a lift. The victims got into the car. On their way, the driver was over-speeding and lost control and rammed the car into the Hennur underpass. Afraid of public wrath, the cab driver fled. Passers-by shifted the victims to a hospital.
