BANGALORE: The State Legal Service Authority under the Chairmanship of Justice N K Patil will submit its interim report to the state government on June 15 on the deaths due to malnutrition in various districts.
Justice N K Patil said, “This is a burning issue in the entire state, the media should cover this with more prominence. I have heard from the members present here about the issue and will discuss the next course of action.”
It may be recalled that the High Court on October 4, 2011 directed State Legal Service Authority to conduct an investigation through its District Legal Service Authority,Raichur to get details on malnutrition, child health care and submit a report.
