BANGALORE: Now you can save yourself the hassle of having to wait endless hours after you arrive in Thailand by applying in advance for a visa and getting it approved in Bangalore itself. VFS Global and the Royal Thai Counsulate General, Chennai, announced the launch of new services in the city for pre-processing of visa applications.

“There are many benefits of using this service. One can get a visa for 60 days instead of the usual 15 day stay granted for on-arrival visa applicants,” said Chanchai Charanvatnakit, Counsul General, Royal Thai Counsulate General, Chennai.

The centre located in Shivajinagar in Prestige Atrium will add additional capacity of processing upto 60 additional applications a day.  “Bangalore saw close to 10000 applications last year. If we have more numbers of applications, we shall look at implementing a single day processing mechanism,” Charanvatnakit added.

For further information  visit  www.vfs-thailand.co.in. The centre will be open from 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 3 pm on Monday to Friday.
